Yes I know there exist technically accurate G1 Optimus Primes, yet I still like Classics better!
Dense plastic, good to hold, does not feel fragile, even being 12 years old. Joints tight. I'd worried the translucent bits would be a problem but they are actually thick chunks reinforced by dense hinges and lots of screws. This is gonna start something. But I like him way better than his Siege incarnation.

The yellow bits don't bug me at all, even the bit on the crest. I do sort of wish they went with a less orange-red paint. Converts just right and does not try to over complicate it. You'd think the fake grill would bother me. Yet it does not since at least here its trying to replicate the actual truck mode, though I think with a little more engineering they may have been able to dispense with even that. And the shell parts are actually part of the alt-mode and not simply hiding robot parts.
