Frank Herbert's DUNE [Sci-Fi Channel Miniseries]

The Sci-Fi Channel Miniseries, remains the most faithful adaption of Frank Herbert's novel. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

I don't really have too much to say beyond the above blurb on the matter. Denis Villeneuve's Dune, now provided full context must as an adaption be seen to be a failure, despite the Avatar (James Cameron) level praise it is getting for the "Cinematic Experience".

I can promise you, when the dust settles, all anyone is going to care about or fondly remember about these movies - At least as fans of the original work, are the ornithopters.

John Harrison, turns out to be, Dune Fandom's Peter Jackson. Even having made similar statements regarding keeping fidelity with the original work.

If you feel the impulse to watch DUNE on screen, take a couple hours and spend it on the miniseries. I have done so, at least three times recently and came away with a sense of completeness.
